Hours: 14 per week, possibility of extending to 18 hours

£15 per hour

About The Music Works

The Music Works is a Gloucestershire charity that transforms young lives through music. We’re specialists in working with young people in challenging circumstances to help them reach their full potential in music, in learning and in life. We work with over 3,000 young people a year in schools and our four community studios in Gloucester, and the Forest of Dean. Our approach is youth-led, with young people involved at every stage of planning and delivery.

About the role

This role is funded through Access to Work for the next 12 months, with the possibility of being extended. 

This role is jointly managed by the two members of staff you are assisting and is split between both of our Hubs: 

  • The Music Works – Gloucester, 27 St Aldate Street, Gloucester, GL1 1RP 
  • The Music Works – Forest, 6 Market St, Cinderford GL14 2RX 

A Workplace Assistant needs to demonstrate sensitivity, responsiveness, and an ability to follow the instructions given by the person they are assisting, including completing tasks on their behalf. This role is to assist our Youth Support Manager and Music Leader with admin tasks.

This role is funded by a Grant from the Department of Work and Pensions as part of their Access to Work scheme.
