On Friday mornings (during term-time) our music therapist Misha Law provides music therapy on the children’s ward at Gloucester Royal Hospital.
Misha offers 1-1 and small group sessions on the ward for young people aged 4-18 to support them during their time in hospital. The sessions are prioritised for long-term patients, young people with additional needs, oncology patients, and those struggling with anxiety around their stay. To request sessions please contact the school room on the ward, or speak to a nurse.
Once a week (during term-time) our music leader Salo runs music sessions for young people who are under the Gloucestershire Hospital Education Service (GHES).
The sessions take place in the GHES classroom in Cheltenham. As part of these sessions there is opportunity for young people to take an Arts Award.
