Have you ever stood at a event thinking “I could put something like this together”? Our Young Promoters programme could be exactly what you’re looking for.
Our first cohort gained real, hands-on industry experience; going backstage at Gloucester Guildhall, volunteering at 10+ local events, and landing paid festival roles through our partnership with Wicked Events. One participant was successful in landing a full-time marketing job at an events company.
We’re now looking for up to 15 young people aged 16–25 from Gloucestershire to join this free, 20-week programme running 4 August – 8 December 2026. You’ll meet every Tuesday & Thursday, 6–8pm at The Music Works Gloucester Hub.
The programme offers hands-on production workshops, festival site visits, guest talks, and mentoring from people who’ve worked Boomtown, All Points East, and major international festivals.
At the end of the programme, the cohort gets £4,000 to produce an event – whether that’s a collective show or your own idea brought to life.
No experience needed. Just a passion for live music and events.
