Join us every Thursday evening for Sunset Sessions – a weekly live music series showcasing emerging local artists. In partnership with Gloucester Food Dock, enjoy great live music alongside delicious food and seasonal drinks in a relaxed waterfront setting throughout the summer.

Thursday 2nd July – Chakka

Chaka is a boom bap rapper and singer doing poetic and soulful rap with a soothing voice and strong relaxed presence. He’s performed at international festivals and has been described as creative stylish and conscious.

Thursday 9th July – Merce Jade

Merce Jade creates a sound that connects to the heart and moves the soul. Fusing an eclectic mix of R&B, mellow rap and poetic soul, Merce invites you into her world of warmth and reflection.

Thursday 16th July – Joshua Ó Cathasaigh

Joshua Ó Cathasaigh is an alternative folk artist. He brings a raw honesty with his voice and powerful imagery. Blending unique chord structures and songwriting for an experience you can feel in your soul. His songwriting is emotionally vulnerable creating a deep experience that allows audiences not just to connect with the music, but to understand themselves and each other. He’s played festivals and many venues across the UK including Underground Festival and The Subrooms. He is currently recording his debut EP – “September’s Dance”.

Thursday 23rd July – TRINITY

Alternative Jazz artist TRINITY infuses music with a grand explosive energy with influences of RnB, Pop, and blues. With a passion for music found within musicals and big grand lyricism, TRINITY pursued her career as an artist, with the vision of creating a soundscape of an atmospheric community.

Thursday 30th July – Libby

Libby is a singer-songwriter from Gloucestershire with a powerful, soulful voice. Blending pop, soul and R&B, she performs a mix of classic and modern covers alongside her own original songs.

Influenced by artists like Adele and Whitney Houston, her style focuses on strong vocals, honest lyrics and a subtle edge drawn from her love of indie rock!
